Overview:

The San Luis Obispo Soccer Club is offering a training academy this February and March to help develop the skills of youth soccer players ages 8-13. Our focus during the Academy is to develop individual skills through instruction by our San Luis Obispo Soccer Club coaches and Cal Poly interns. In addition, we will cover tactics and techniques for team play and individual positions. A detailed list of the topics we will cover during the five week academy is listed below.

We realize that players and families schedules are busy and we have tried to build flexibility into our program. Players may attend one individual session, sign up for one day of the week, two days or all three days. Our fee schedule is below. Any player attending the Academy must have a signed waiver (and shinguards) before they can participate.

The Academy is open to the public and will be held in San Luis Obispo, Nipomo, Los Osos and Atascadero/Templeton

How to Register
Our on-line registration is now open. To register for the Training Academy, click here. Then, when you come to the first training session, bring a waiver and payment (check made out to SLOSC, or cash), and you are set. You may show up at at any academy training session and pay for that day (assuming space is still available), although we prefer to have people pre-register if possible so that we have the appropriate number of coaches.

What to Bring
To participate, you will need cleats, shinguards, and signed waiver. In addition, it is recommended that you bring a water bottle.
